Changelog
Release notes for CodeNimbleTools tools, content corrections, testing improvements and site-wide technical changes.
Release notes are kept for changes that materially affect tool behavior, technical claims or the site’s publishing/testing process.
September 3, 2026 — Editorial and AdSense-readiness rebuild
- Added named owner/maintainer attribution and a public William profile without inventing professional credentials.
- Added the public How We Test CodeNimbleTools methodology page.
- Added tool-specific examples, edge cases, known limitations, authoritative references and last-reviewed notes, with deeper evidence on security and high-use tools.
- Replaced universal JSON file-size/depth claims with device- and browser-dependent limitations.
- Expanded the guide library across JWT, CORS, cron, cURL/fetch, JSON transformation, TypeScript, Unix permissions, CIDR, CSP and HTTP security headers.
- Updated privacy disclosure for Google advertising and documented consent-management requirements.
- Adjusted Content Security Policy handling so the AdSense loader is not blocked by the site’s own header.
- Kept search/filter result pages noindexed and expanded the sitemap with editorial pages and guides.
August 2026 — Tool catalog review
- Reviewed the 50 built-in tool implementation pairs and confirmed each deployed PHP interface has a matching JavaScript implementation.
- Kept explicit JWT “decode is not verify” wording and production warnings for generated CORS/CSP/server configuration.
